Mass Effect 3 releases in October?

If the next Call of Duty is scheduled for November as well as Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3 will NOT come out this year.

EA isn't going to put Mass Effect 3 ANYWHERE close to the bitter war that will be Battlefield 3 vs Call of Duty Next this November.

It's christmas the month after so none of those games will lose out if released in november

there are franchise that do fine with cod .... especially if from another genre .

You dont see Assassin creed chickening out each cod , and it does great . Hell i have a feeling many games are loosing steam and sales because they flee , instead , and would do great despite fps releases .

Even if Mass effect has a broad brand appeal , i dont think its fans are the same crowd than cod's .

I doubt its the date too mind you , but i'd be very happy with it personally and plunge some more into savings

Yeah, but don't forget that Mass Effect 2 was delayed BECAUSE of Modern Warfare 2 folks.

It was supposed to come out in November 2009. Anybody remember that?

Surely you guys also remember the rush that happens when Call of Duty is announced for Novembers.

Developers/Publishers PULL out of that time period to avoid clashing. This has been going on FOR YEARS.

I'm sure I won't be the only gamer who would buy BC3 and mass effect 3 on launch day. Not all gamers are skint.

but yeah a delay is probability. Since Me2 was delayed also becuase of the same reason.

Let's not forget Skyrim and Uncharted 3 are BOTH set for a November release, too. At this rate it wouldn't be mad to think at least something will be delayed.

I don't care whether it will be October or next year.
I just want them not to do hurry on this high profile game.
Otherwise it will be another messed up like Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2.

My money is on October...Too much competition in November and they probably want a good amount of holiday sales.
