As the PlayStation 2 days is nearing its end, blockbuster PS2 games are hard to come by and their rarity has a high price tag along with it. One of the “rare” games that are hard to find on the PS2 are the Fatal Frame series.
I havent played either one of them. whats the hype about them? not trying to say their not living up to the hype just wondering whats the big deal about the game?
Well basically the games are about you exploring a ghost town/village with a special camera that captures photos of ghosts and exorcises them. The execution of the game is what makes them great, the setting, art, music, and overall feel is eerie: very reminiscent of Silent Hill or Siren games. Give it a go. You'll like them.
I can't find a single Gamestop that has the 3rd one and I've been trying for the past 2 weeks. Well I could drive 60 miles to the gamestop that does have it apparently but that's way too far.

Though these games are pretty rare, $30 for each isn't so overwhelmingly good. I would appreciate a boxset of all three for that price, though.

Even Evan Wells the founder of Naughty Dog favors Fatal Frame II as his top three PS2 games.
Must have & played for survival horror fans.
Got them all day 1, never regretted it :)
