Lexis Numérique has unveiled new storyline details for Red Johnson’s Chronicles. The downloadable title for PlayStation Network, launched today, is an investigation/adventure game set in a unique atmosphere mixing a noir style with dark humour. Playing as private detective Red Johnson, players must solve a murder by exploring dark worlds, finding, analyzing and using clues.
Red Johnson’s Chronicles wants to be the type of old school adventure game where you have to take notes to succeed. This is all well and good for a PC or console game, where you’re free to pick up a pen, but it proves to be a fundamental flaw for a mobile game.
Check out this week's new game releases for iPhone and iPad.

"Red Johnson's Chronicles is an investigative point and click adventure game by Microids, developers of the critically acclaimed Syberia series, as well as Still Life and Jules Verne's Return to Mysterious Island 2. Having made its way to the PSN in 2011, Chronicles has finally been released on the PC. Is this a simple open-shut case for Red? Or will some further investigation be required? Read on to find out."
Looks like a good game, but the score is making me think twice about getting this game.
