Sanctum of Slime takes place shortly after the incidents that happened in the glorious Ghostbusters 2. The lovable Ghostbusters team which we adore is being swamped with work due to an enormous ghoul outbreak caused by an ancient artefact which brings to life a mighty demon called Dumazu. So the Ghostbusters team decides to hire a new group of characters to show this demon whose boss.
