literally the most frustrating download i've encountered in a long time. Both because I'm VERY VERY ANXIOUS to play, and because i had to restart it TWICE!!!! godd.amn glitches.

I wish I could afford this game. The beta was so great. I just don't have the extra money and what little extra spending money I do get is going towards other games. But I will get this game on PS3 when I can afford it. Some time after Mortal Kombat is out hopefully.

But the guy is wrong saying the monthly fee is $15 a month on PS3. It isn't. It's $34.99 for 3 months. They lowered the price and announced it right on the PSBlog shortly after the game released.

Queasy4812d ago (Edited 4812d ago )

Actually, it is both. The $29.99 for 3 months is a promo that is only good through March 1. And, if you failed to sign up for the promo, the game automatically renews you at $15 a month.

AssassinHD4812d ago (Edited 4812d ago )

I only paid $29.99 for the legendary subscription plan. I live in North America. Are the subscription plans different across the pond?

Queasy4812d ago

@Assassin...ack, you're right. It is $29.99

Larry L4812d ago

You could be right, but I'm not sure it's only a promo. On the Blog they made it sound like a Permanant thing. And since the game comes with a 30 day trial anyway, alot of people who bought it, that trial would take them past March 1st. You could be right, but you could be wrong. But also, I was pretty sure they said $34.99, so we may be talking about 2 different things. Your $30 may have been some promo while my $35 may be the permanant new price. IDK, maybe I'll spend the time to go look up the post on the PSBlog.

Larry L4812d ago (Edited 4812d ago )

OK, I looked it up. You're right. It is a limited time thing, at least for now. Though to be honest, it seems like a far more reasonable price, and I have a feeling that will end up being a permanant thing, or it just go down to $10 a month flat within a few months.

I'm still undecided on if I want to buy this. I loved the beta, but the amount of trolls online totally put me off.

BlackTar1874812d ago

What do you mean the amount of trolls?
In game?

SuperStrokey11234812d ago

Yeah, could you clear that up? I was considering trying it but if the people are all jerks...

4pocalyps34812d ago

Err what are you talking about? The people are really friendly its just the opposite side (if your Hero I mean villains and vice versa) that can be irritating. But everyone helps each other out for quests and such. I've spent a lot of my gaming time playing on both sides and haven't found anyone who has been so bad that it's put me off the game.

BlackTar1874812d ago

Strokey...

I play a bunch and most people i found to be very cool. they have helped me with a bunch of stuff and didn't ask for anything in return. Im not sure what he means and he may have a valid point but on my end the experience has been nothing but nice and all the people ive met have been pretty solid people.

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
