How to Kick Ass in Black Ops Domination Mode

I wish i could, but i am certainly getting good at it. i have increased my K/D ratio up to 0.98 from 0.56 when i started. but it's still pretty bad.

The best way to be good at this game - there is no actual secret, you have to be comfortable, when I started I was average, but once I used most of the guns, I know which I play best with.
What I do suggest, cycle all the guns, for domination I have 3 generic classes.
Famas with dual mags, any pistol, Ghost, Sleight of hand (pro), and ninja.
The dual mags doubles your ammo, and makes the first reload of the dual mag clips faster, I use this class after we have captured 2 flags.
2 rushing classes (depends on map) - usually the better players will grenade spam the middle flag, so I use flack jacket, sleight of hand, marathon with the Ak74u dual mags or the spas 12 shotgun.
The other rushing class - Ak74U extended mags, lightweight, hardened, Marathon.

@mezzo play some other game types and test out other guns, each time I have prestiged Ive found I like different guns.

OMG this game is horrible! This and Gears are the only two games were you can shoot someone in the back and they can turn around and kill you first. This title is broken... having a jump on someone means nothing!

the only advise that I could give is Lag your connection... you will be much harder to kill... Try downloading bit torrents, my K/D is 4.5.

Teamwork is key but if you're really good, quick and alert, you can cap flags by yourself with no problem so I disagree with his mercenary tdm comment.

Domination is cod mp's saving grace...i just can't get enough. It was THE only mode that got me through mw2.

i hate when my team sucks, but i hardly play domination. but when i do i play with care package, chopper gunner, and dogs on. reason for care package is cuz u really never know what u might get and its only 5 kills one time i got dogs in package and then got dogs again with 11 kills in same match. Another good advice is to guard the routes that hardly anyone takes, it may take longer but u will get ur killstreak rewards 4 sure.

people always take half my kills, pisses me off damn you second chance !!, anway i run with Galil with silencer,extended mags,ghost pro,slight of hand pro or warlord,ninja pro or hacker pro also i love the spector and mpl i hate campers tho i never use my mic unless i use actual teamwork,only maps i like are hanoi,nuke town,cracked,summit,array(w.e it's called) i always leave the game befor it starts on the outher maps i hate the rest i want more night maps tho hanoi is my favorite i know some hate it but i think its fun as hell on demolition. RCXD,Napom,chopper gunner and blackbird is the best!
