Polygamia.pl: Mortal Kombat is back with Kratos as exclusive character on PS3. Let's think who can be a 'good' guest character on Xbox 360.

No 360 exclusive characters really fit, besides when a developer adds an extra piece of content for one system and later flat out says there will be no extra content for another. It usually means pen has touched paper *wink*

The Elites from Halo fit in pretty well.

I think the Arbiter with his plasma sword and plasma grenades fits into the MK style very well and his fatality can involve the plasma sword.

The_Illusive_Man4853d ago

um i have never seen elites in halo arbitor include use hand to hand combat in halo i dont think eilites will fit

I was just thinking what about Big Daddy from Bioshock. He'd be slow but powerful. Plus his drill could make for some brutal fatalities.

CameronL994853d ago

Pssst, Big Daddy is neither an exclusive 360 character nor would it work in the Mortal Kombat universe.

Ps3 has a few more who can fit in besides kratos

1.Cole From Infamous

2.Raiden From Mgs 4

3.Ryu From Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Xbox Relys to much on shooters so it really would not fit in this game.

Maybe Xbox 360 can get a Character from a Non Exclusive... Like A smack to the face to Kratos why Not Dante From "Dantes Inferno" ??? the two best Hack and Slash Games

chester4853d ago

@1.2.2

Cole works,

Raiden is in MGS Rising,

Ryu's done two tours on the 360.

The obvious answer is Marcus Fenix of course.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kaim from Lost Odyssey. Fits the style, cool name for it, wouldn't look completely out of place like Master Chief.

ArmrdChaos4853d ago (Edited 4853d ago )

Duke Nukem.

Lord_Doggington4853d ago

the characters from Too Human would be good.

good riddance...

Well the 360 really has only 2 mascots - Chief and Marcus, and neither of them fit in IMO.

This is what happens when you don't have any first party games/studios.

guigsy4853d ago

"This is what happens when you don't have any first party games/studios"

And yet you've just mentioned 2.

Shok4853d ago

Just 2 is nothing to be proud of. That's sad.

gta28004853d ago (Edited 4853d ago )

Bungie isn't first party anymore nor has Epic ever been first party. Both exclusives games...yes, but still nothing compared to what Sony has. I think they've created more high scoring new franchises than a lot of multi-plat devs combined. So there's a lot of first party variety there.

BX814853d ago

To b proud of? You act like Sony pays you.

BigO4853d ago

Maybe you'd like to see the gay fable guy.... hahahahahahahahahaahhaahahahah ahahahahah da box is WEAK!!!!!!!!

AssassinBrotherhood4853d ago

NO one can match Kratos the GOD OF WAR

guitarded774853d ago

I wanna see Sackboy whoop some ass... that would be cool.

xino4853d ago

No one!
Xbox 360 doesn't have any exclusive character that suits MK!

Just because PS3 has an exclusive character doesn't mean Xbox 360 needs to get the same treatment!

Tell your boss Microsoft to get more first party devs and more exclusives, instead of paying MORE money for Timed Exclusives:/

-Ninja Gaiden 3- is sick!:)

gta28004853d ago (Edited 4853d ago )

Not just timed exclusives, don't forget Kinect.

Lou-Cipher4853d ago

I think that Raiden from MetalGearSolid, Hades from GodofWar, and the chick from Bayonetta would be cool characters in a Mortal Kombat game, but those aren't 360 franchises.

Master Chief & Marcus Fenix dont really fit in the MK Universe, and I cant think of any 360 only character that would be right in the next MK game.

Hudahudahuda4853d ago

Yeah, Hades would be sick. Especially all those tricks he does with his chains :D

My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.

Relientk77169d ago

That's the one I played the most as a kid. Fun times gaming on my Sega Genesis, the memories

Terry_B169d ago

Deception, MK2, MK9, MKX ..rest.

Kakashi Hatake169d ago

MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.

Tankbusta40168d ago

1 and 2 were cultural phenomenon's.

specialguest168d ago

I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
