IGN Nintendo editor Rich George has confirmed that January 19, 2011 will be the big day for the 3DS in terms of information.
"...In terms of information" -_- I guess you heard I like announcements, so you put an announcement in your announcement about the announcement
I'm gonna go mark my calender. It is the day when we will hear that the 3DS = 300 dolla.
lol man u got me really confused but funny at the same time
I feel bad for the uninformed parents who just got their kids a DS for Christmas.
the DS lite still kicks ass.
But it's no 3DS...
I'll wait till it has been out for a year or so and the refresh of the product comes out. You know, a screen you can actually see and isn't too dark, better battery life, and more ergonomic. The way it should have been the first time around but there is no money in releasing a final product anymore when they can get you to buy the same product at least twice.
Lmao, sweet. Lookin forward to this day :)
...I thought that was the release date for a second... haha
the 3ds will be 250 MAX
I hope the 3DS isn't anymore than 250, I mean I'd like to get one no matter what but then if it's not THAT expensive then I could also buy games. I'm pretty adamant on getting a 3DS and Ocarina of Time 3DS day 1.
Pre-orders available on that day?
Can't wait GOT MINE RESERVE. and one for my lil sis.
Originally it be $200, but I think Nintendo will charge for the charging cradle and memory card that comes with it. Better yet, I hope they take those two items out for US release and go with the price point of $200.
I really don't. You need a charging cradle to be able to play the thing (Unless they also include a regular cable, but I doubt they will), and the card is of course useful for Gameboy VC. But I suppose some people have cards that are plenty big enough as is.
Realistically, I agree that Nintendo won't skip on the cradle. In fact, Nintendo stated at 3DS conference that was held a few months back, that the whole idea behind it was to give the consumer the idea that any time you are not using the 3DS you need to rest it at its cradle. Since the 3DS wont have the long battery life the DS family had. 01-19-11 is not that far off, I hope they spill all the details regarding the NA release, rather then just being a demo presentation.
I never throught I'd say this for a Nintendo product after the Wii, but I CAN'T WAIT!
"Though no specific titles were revealed for the system, the ability to play these old-school games for the first time on a system since the DS Phat (the DS Lite only supported Game Boy Advance cartridges) is certainly a tantalizing thought." Wait, since when did the Original DS play GBC/GB games??
