Lord of the Rings: Middle-earth Defense is a good, accessible tower defense game that newcomers will enjoy. It isn’t as deep as many of its competitors, but that’s obviously by design. So, if you like a deep challenge, perhaps Middle-earth Defense isn’t the game for you. But thanks to a great use of the Lord of the Rings license, Middle-earth Defense will appeal to fans of the still-excellent movie trilogy.
"Some of the most successful movies in history are based on books. But can the same be said about video games? Most definitely. Successful books are developed into video games and here are our top 5." - Dante of Game Life

The industry has a nasty habit of churning out stinkers, from the infamous Enter the Matrix to recent duds like Battle: Los Angeles. STP writes: While we already saw one fantasy-movie trilogy step into tower defense territory with Star Wars: Battle For Hoth, the Lord of the Rings movies will be following suit in December. In Lord of the Rings Middle-Earth Defense, you’ll get to set up classic heroes like Aragon, Frodo, and Gandalf as legions of orcs march single-mindedly towards their targets.
