Wow, 8 360 titles with only one title for each of PS3 and Wii. Still, glad to see BioShock at the top :)
BioShock rules.
Thanks for the help. Updated :)

Yes, the 360 dominates all software charts.

pilotpistolpete6091d ago

ok...this is for a game rental site. I was starting to wonder why it was almost all xbox games. I mean usually the wii owns all.

OC_MurphysLaw6091d ago

Hardware sales and Wii Sports sales (bundled w/ hardware)

Otherwise if you look at the software sales ....more often than not the 360 tends to dominate the software category (sales and rental).

chasegamez6091d ago (Edited 6091d ago )

there renting until they finish it
it doesnt count as a sale
(reply)do you see any wii games no 1 ps3 game
that mean people are buying the game
people are renting 360

FordGTGuy6091d ago

do you think bought these games for them to rent?

kn6091d ago

I don't necessarily think that the rental list is a GOOD thing. It means a lot of people don't want to buy it but want to rent it instead. Does anyone have a comparison of rental vs. sales? That would be interesting indeed... Is there a postive, negative, or no correlation?

Rooftrellen6091d ago

I don't think a lot of rentals is generally a good thing.

Obviously, a hugely popular game will get more sales and rentals than an average game, but the way I see it, very good games get a lot of rentals and sales.

Good games get less rentals and more sales.

Bad games get more rentals and fewer sales.

Really bad games get a few sales and fewer rentals.

Bioshock and MP3 are very popular games that blow everyone else away on their sales and have a lot of rentals. Stranglehold got pretty medicore reviews, so I would guess a lot of people are renting, but not buying.

I would assume its different genre to genre, as well. I wouldn't dream of renting an RPG because they generally take too long to beat. A party game, though, generally lacks the depth needed to keep you paying for long, so even a really great party game is more likely to be just a rental.
