Uncharted 3 To Feature In Next Edge Magazine Issue?

Rumours of a third Uncharted instalment have been doing the rounds for quite a while now but everything may be coming in to place now for a big reveal.

Man, I hope UC3 brings the bar even further! Uc2 graphics are still beast, but since UC3 is coming so soon I do want to see somewhat of an upgrade. I really think UC3 should be a PS4 launch title, along with GT6(AWESOME LINEUP.)

na Uncharted 2 had only 2 years gap from the original so they are just sticking with the development cycle :) you can expect Uncharted 4 or 5 to launch with the PS4 lol :)

I think it was a sure thing when the series sold as well as it did and got the most GOTY awards that any game has every gotten.

Gotta love it though, Uncharted is my favorite new IP of this generation.

one thing is having great games like

LBP2 (so much footage and info its already not very "fresh", I just want to play it now)

infamous 2 (great improvement over 1 but still infamousy)

Dead Space 2 (seen a lot, know a lot, just want to play it now x( )

and KZ3 ( huge improvement over KZ2, but the excitement has settled a bit, esp since I played the SP which blew me away, The image in my head is solidified and I just want more new info by now)

Deus Ex HR ( seen a lot, just want it!! =O game has been announced since 2007!)

TLG ( seen enough to know what its about and just want to play it D= )

Uncharted 3!?!??!? ZOMG - not only is U2 one of the most visually (not graphically, VISUALLY) breath taking games ever, with amazing set pieces, juxtaposed locations and great action, U3 can only top that...

and to top that seems...impossible, THUS why I'm so hyped =D

+ they touched on so much with U1 (jungle/ruins/boats) and U2 (snow/city/temple/train) so what next?! =O!!!

I loved both uncharted's.

This time i want to be able to swim underwater, caverns etc would be sweet. Mixed with climbing and the awesome gunplay.

UC1 - 9/10 UC2 10/10.

Best I.P for years.

I think its because of the problem of perfecting perfection. If Uncharted 2 is 10/10, what would make Uncharted 3? IMO, needs to be longer, more characters, more sully, BETTER STORY, and even more epic set pieces ala Train section.

Agreed. Nothing has much on Uncharted in terms of quality.
I absolutely can't wait to see what Uncharted 3 brings to the table.

They brought MP to Uncharted 2, and did a damn good job. Still has around 50k players playing online a day (give or take). Not to mention they added a Story Co-op mode AND Goal-based 4-Player Co-op modes, along with a "Horde" style mode.

Honestly, Uncharted 3 is going to be my top game of whatever year it comes out. Not to mention it'll win every game of the year award AGAIN.

And it won't be revealed through them if the story is correct, reveal will be on the 12th-ish and the next issue of Edge doesn't come out until December 23rd, they'll just have coverage of it and probably make it their cover title for that month.

How to improve Uncharted series.

Add Horde Mode to Uncharted 3 multiplayer, where you get swarmed by zombies.

Why not just port it over from ps3 to the 360? That way it can be on 3-5 dvds, Which according to some 360 fans is great nastalgia.

Seriously though replace the zombies in Horde mode with 360 fantards, name them pp, cold2000, omega 4, etc. and you would have the most played mp mode on PSN, hands down.

i think the only way to improve on uncharted 2 is to just simply add more content to the next title.

i mean i would add 2 more players in co op mode and extend the missions to like 10 or 12?(imagine 5 players in co op)

also have that thing call of duty has where if someone quits he or she is quickly replaced on the fly.

more perks obviously, a lot more but less cheat-ful ones.

as for campaign? well i don't have to say much you guys already know what to do.

But if i had any kinds of requests i would say, cut back on the last minute moments. playing uncharted 2 it felt a bit overwhelming after my 3rd play-through.

a 100 treasures was a good thing, now..how about 150 of them?

like someone here said, underwater missions would greatly enhance the uncharted experience.

More guns

More complex puzzles, uncharted has a nice balance. But a few difficult puzzles in the mix will do this game justice in many ways.

...halfway through the latest issue of Gameinformer, there is a two page picture of a crashed ship and it says “Next Issue Cover Reveal: December 6th.” When I first saw this, my mind went to Uncharted 3... but that would put it a few days before sony’s announcement, so I doubt the next issue of GI will have it featured... but then why would Naughty Dog choose Edge over GI? Edge is so much worse.
