In the genre of role playing video games, Final Fantasy is basically the dominant franchise. Despite the impressiveness of most of the Final Fantasy stories, there have been a few particularly bad plot twists in the series. M. Strauss gives the five worst.
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."
What a word vomit, rambling, turd of an article that simply states the obvious. Classic exputer.
Yuji Naka was fined $1.2 million and given a suspended jail sentence for the crime.
I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence
I mean come on, 13 freaking games and over 30 spin offs and splinter franchises.
I mean chamown! Stop!
haha good article. Yes, there are so many lame plot twists in the FF games, im pretty disgusted too. The whole 'its a dream' thing is a pain
The "orphanage" plot twist was incredibly frustrating but the plot wasn't exactly God-awful, I mean if you really dig into it there are a more nuances in FF8's plot and backstory than any other FF out there. Except maybe 7, but it has multiple games to flesh out a backstory.
Umm... so did the author of this Article never play Final Fantasy II? The best plot-twist, for than one reason, was included in Mystic Quest/USA.
