Eyes-on: Peter Molyneux's 'Milo and Kate' project

At the TEDGlobal 2010 conference in Oxford, games developer Peter Molyneux has shown off Milo and Kate, a forthcoming game for Microsoft's Kinect Xbox add-on. The game tells the story of Milo, a boy who's just moved to New England from London with his parents, and a dog called Kate.

would love to see it in action

i guess this is not vaporware

glad I got in before all the shit talking begins by the folks who cant imagine anyone enjoying themselves on the 360.

owning both the 360 and PS3 is the way to go, there are too many great games to miss.

To El Nino:

have you been to comment section of any of the articles on N4G? fanboy shit talking is the norm on this website and if you look at my comment history you'll quickly see that I am no fanboy. Just give this thread time and you will see what I mean. If I'm wrong then happy day!

El Nino5083d ago (Edited 5083d ago )

You just started it buddy by saying this...

"glad I got in before all the shit talking begins by the folks who cant imagine anyone enjoying themselves on the 360."

@ above

i never said you was a fanboy, but writing shit like "folks who cant imagine anyone enjoying themselves on the 360" automatically starts shit off and implies your taking shots at people or there console of choice

i agree'd with your post except that one line, cos your just asking for it really aernt u?

BabyTownFrolics5083d ago (Edited 5083d ago )

but I see what your saying, I was more just stating it as fact of the climate on this website, but again I can see how those eager to talk shit would take that line as an invitation.

and reading the comments thus far (currently there we are up to comment 6) no one has done what I said, so perhaps I was a bit hasty in my anticipation of negativity on this topic.

Kinect came out years ago. I forgot about this until today.

Based on last years 'tech demo' of natal and this years disappointing showing can any demonstration even be trusted if its a live one from microsoft?

Personally, i would not consider buying this until there was a free beta.

This is not hate toward 360. This is hate toward the whole Milo & Kate project. After reading that article, I seriously think I'd have more fun playing with my dog than go through daily activities with an imaginary person.

krisprolls5082d ago

Owning a 360 for what ? For paying to play online ?

There are few 360 good games that you can't play elsewhere, few real exclusives, and nearly every game is playable on PS3 or on my PC in better version.

PC / PS3 is the ultimate combo. No need for a 360.

Whats up with N4G and Kinect?

I like Peter's way of thinking - reminds me of Doc from Back to the Future.

jay25083d ago

Milo and Kate the dog are the ONLY things keeping me intrested in Kinect.

Spenok5083d ago

I agree, this at the moment, is the only thing that can potentially sell me on Kinect.

jay25083d ago (Edited 5083d ago )

Let's hope if the prices are real, then Kinect is going to be reduced by it's release.

Kate, much to the surprise of everybody who thought she was the lady who demonstrated the game at E3 2009, is apparently Milo's dog

there lady who previewed it was called Claire

Jeff-Ryan5083d ago

I thought Kate is a little girl we get to play with. come on.

Menech5083d ago

That sounded so wrong to to many levels...
