Kojima Ends Possible PlayStation 3 Exclusive Rumor

Recently, there was a rumor which emerged indicating that famed developer, Hideo Kojima, would unveil a new PlayStation 3 exclusive at the upcoming gaming expo, Tokyo Game Show. The Metal Gear creator has all but ended the speculation regarding if the rumor was correct.

This don't mean that he doesn't work on PS3 exclusive... Though I'm pretty sure he is. During Peace Walker development he said he craves for high-end system goodness after seeing MW2. He obviously didn't mean Xbox360. (Yes, I know, MW2 is also on Xbox 360 but this isn't the point of this sentence)

If this game is so important for Kojima, the most important thing for him is to make a game exactly the way he wanted and not that the multiplatformity will give him more sales. The MGS4 sold 5 mil. ok, so there's plenty of his fans even on one console.

Peace Walker is an authentic Metal Gear Solid Game in every way. The fact that it is on a hand held has only changed things that go directly to storage space. In fact, I think it is safer to say that the changes are more because the game is not PS3 exclusive than because the game is on a handheld.

1. The resolution is not HD (or a common HD substitute) because the game in on PSP.

2. The cut scenes are in motion comic form instead of motion video. That is because of storage considerations.

Other that those two things the game is in no way different from any other Metal Gear Solid game. It counts as a real Metal Gear Solid game, very much so.

I've played every MGS, I'm a fan of Kojima, looking forward to Rising and I prefer my 360.

weve all seen what can be done with blu ray so anybody who really wants the best for the series would probably want it on the ps3, Of course its not an exact science as i enjoyed the gamecube mgs without thought of the hardware so ill give you that. I disagree its not misleading, if properly used it does have "arguably" 2x the power. Most developers run games at 720p for stabilit reason until the can correctly harness the power with out limited the game. Because after all there are true 1080p(see not upscaled) games on PS3 the are just not that demanding so to speak.

Every corp is in business of making money period. Fans will come and go and these companies will keep giving huge bonuses and dividends to it's shareholders.

IF its another metal gear solid (ps3) then itll be metal gear solid peacewalker , on the mgs4 limited edition theres a bonus blu ray that haves the history of metal gear saga.. and hideo mentioned mgs3 snake eater was going to be on ps3 but he couldnt make it because ps3 wasnt on the market at the time so he settled for ps2.

So i think he may or could make mgs pw for ps3.
