Mass Effect 3 and Dead or Alive 5 Confirmed for E3

If you've been following Gamespot's E3 coverage, you may of looked at their hexagonal floor map. If you look at it, you can hover over it and see which games publishers and developers will be showing off this year at E3.

As you can see from above, they have revealed - accidentally we imagine - that Dead or Alive 5 will be shown off here. Of course, we knew nothing of the game before hand, so take this as the announcement.

Furthermore, if you go over to EA's booth, you'll happily see that they'll be showing off Mass Effect 3.

OH MY GOD. Shepard is gonna kick some major ass at E3. E3 2010 is going to be the biggest E3 ever if you ask me. With all these super important exclusive and multiplatform game announcements, I don't know how long I can stay still without having a brain explosion.

Edit: HOLY SH*T it is true. Look at EA's showfloor map at Gamespot. it says Mass Effect 3 under "Featured Games" list.

2. It is already on the main page this is a duplicate story.
3. The game is to sudden, no way will they announce it, plus this is from no real comfirmed source or person.

I love the Mass Effect games and would love to see the third, but hope this is just a teaser reveal or something. I can't stand it when companies just put out games identical to the last with no improvements just o make a quick buck.

That being said, it would still be amazing, but I'd just like to see a bit of care go into the development.

ME2 is also my game of the year and Ive played both the games you mntioned. Moreover ME2 has had more critical acclaim than both of them so there's a whole lot of people who actually think ME2 is the better game.

Sorry, although Heavy Rain is doing something 'new' (IMO its like a very old game called Dragon Lair actually but whatever) or lets say different compared to most games, it can't hold a candle to Mass Effect 2 mate.

GOWIII is the best in the hack&slash action genre, but then again, its GOWII with HD graphics and a larger scale. Storywise again it can't beat Mass Effect 2.

Also seen the average review scores on Metacritic:

GOWIII 9.3
HR 8.7

But your best game of the year = subjective choice. I really liked GOWIII BTW

How many good hack 'n slash games do have better stories than RPGs? That's a rather strange way to compare games from different genres. One could take an opposite and equally ridiculous stance that God of War III is a better game than Mass Effect 2 because the action is faster and more intense in God of War III, comparing the two using elements that are obviously going to favor more action oriented games like GoW III.

Also TKE/KT already showed what games to appear at EEE3, Trinity Ozill, Quantum and Hokuto Musuo. DOA5 will probably be an announcement, but the spokesman of Tecmo said they may announce one of their games NG/DOA "maybe" at EEE3.

Anyway, real or fake, if it gets announced, cool for me!
