GD: Namco hasn't forgotten its original Splatterhouse fans, as there are several nods to the series. A number of familiar weapons return, including a baseball bat with rusty nails in it and, of course, the traditional 2X4 that allows you to whack enemies into walls. Familiar bad guys also make a return, including the twin chainsaw freak that first appeared in the original arcade/TurboGrafx-16 game. If that isn't enough nostalgia for you, Splatterhouse will also contain all three original games in the series, including the Genesis sequels and the unedited original. No more green and blue slime, it's all blood red.
