Indications have emerged today that Killspace Entertainment are developing a game based on the 1970's Vietnam War film, Apocalypse Now.
I have thought a lot about how this could be Turned into a game. I imagine a game that turns the scenes from the film into highly atmospheric battle zones, with a feeling of dread throughout. The storyline of the film could easily be adapted into a commentary on linearity in games, If you listen to some of the lines towards the end of the film especially. If done right, this could be an epic game.
I can hear Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries blasting through my speakers. There are just not enough VN era 1st person shooters.
This could be interesting. I wonder if it'll be confirmed at E3?
Should be an interesting game.
I'd never reviews more games, just as long as they are good ": )
don't have much faith in vietnam war games they all sucked since day one. They are totally going to kill this great movie.
That's right. CoD 7 is set in Vietnam too.
maybe a "The Holy Mountain" game could cheer me up. One can only dream, I'm just an empty hand ready to receive.
