New Vanillaware game coming

Vanillaware's Wii title Muramasa: The Demon Blade is still new in Japan and unreleased in the US, but that doesn't mean they get a break from making games. George Kamiytani, of Vanillaware, has recently announced (via Nintendo Power) that they are indeed making another 2D game.

I heard they have always wanted to get back into the RTS genre after Grim Grimoire on the Ps2.

I love how everything they do is hand drawn, such a rare thing to see nowadays.

Well apparently Marvelous is "crying" over sales of this game among others. Good to hear they are going to make another 2D game, not enough of those flying around anymore.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

How do you introduce people to folklore and fairy tales? Introducing people to mythology can be easy when they are young or in school, as such stories can sometimes be used to teach morals, introduce concepts that might be difficult for people to otherwise understand, act as warnings and get imaginations working. Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
