SEGA released a new trailer for End of Eternity today

He either said "End of God" or "This is the end of God" at the end. I think it's the former because he'd probably say "kore wa kamio owakare desu" for the latter.

Maybe the Japanese title isn't End of Eternity, but rather End of God(s)?

Either way, there's probably some religious stuff going on in the game.

More like EPIC FAIL!. We don't need CG we need actual gameplay. This gen is really trying to make us look like fools who gobble up false advertising. But that is only because this gen has seen a substantial amount of new school gamers while the old school gamers see right through it. It's quite sad really.

Wow something tails me that End of Eternity JRPG will be good, hope they don't limit the gameplay or graphics of this game because of the limitation with 360 using 4 DVDs or with out side quest.

I'm not going to bash you for your comment because you're obviously a victim of internet blogging. The performance of the Xbox360 and PS3 is not determined by the amount of space that could fit on their mediums respectively. For the last time, Blu-ray disc will not make a game look or perform better. This is not the days of the SegaCD. The biggest problem with multiple disc is for the developers to find a stopping point for each disc and cutting down the cost. It's never hurt a developer in the last generation to release multiple DVDs; it's an old medium with lower cost. Don't be naive and do a little research and stop getting pimped by websites to get more hits.

I disagree omegaheat. Blu-ray does allow for better quality FMV, something that is still quite important for JRPGs today. Furthermore, more disk space allows for more assets. Sure you could fit a large game like Fallout 3 on one DVD; however, they reuse many assets leaving very little variation in the world.

Also, releasing multiple disk multiplatform games DO hurt developers when they do it on the 360! MS charges a pretty high royalty fee for games that take up more than one disk (a factor brought up by Carmack over the multi disk release of Rage). The reason for this is obviously due to the fact that it looks bad.

Sega has certainly become one of my favorite publishers/developers this generation. In a sea of mediocrity I'm glad SEGA is returning to the glory days. Hopefully Capcom will look and learn.

I have high hopes for this game. Gives me a bit of an FFVIII vibe. Seems pretty mature too. I might swoon on this regardless of any negative reviews. I love the atmosphere and I like my games with a tad of darkness. I'm not for sure if this will end up like Infinite Undiscovery (not saying it's a bad game, just referencing the potential it had) or some of their earlier games. Fill the void SEGA. Fill the void. <3

Oh, and for once, can PS3 and 360 fans just be happy we're getting this title at all. Let's not worry about limitations. After all, there have been some excellent multi-plat games lately (Dead Space). Let's look forward to this together.

That looked incredible granted there was no actual game play but still I can't wait for a release.

One thing i have to wonder though is that the game seems to focus alot on guns and it makes one wonder how they will keep the combat interesting if all it is is just shooting people. Can't wait for more info.

While I agree with you, you can't be serious about Mistwalker. They've only released one game this gen, and have been very hush hush on their next project. Hopefully we'll hear something at E3.
