Although I rarely play the game, I can boast to have 8 different versions of Singstar sitting on my game shelf - and that doesn't include the old PS2 ones we gave away! I don't quite understand the appeal of karaoke though, the singer can never quite sing the song as good as the original and it usually involves inebriated individuals who can't dance either. Singstar's latest entry, Singstar Queen, has been a long time coming. With a track list that Queen fans will drool over, this is likely to be one of the better group themed Singstars released."
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed the ‘Sing for your Summer’ promotional tour for SingStar on PlayStation 3. As part of the promotion, visitors to HMV stores will get the opportunity to win tickets to one of the UK’s popular summer festivals, and attendees of those festivals will get the opportunity to get their party started with the help of SingStar.

It was earlier today that Sony revealed that karaoke classic SingStar was due to receive an Online Battle mode, due to be introduced in an update available in June.
However those that love to sing to their hearts content can gain access to the new mode prior to this, by applying to participate in the Beta.

In addition, there's a couple of standalone tracks for play such as the long awaited inclusion of "I Would Do Anything For Love" by Meat Loaf officially making my personal collection complete."
