There have been no drastic changes to Lara this time around, and that isn't a bad thing. The little additions – dirt accumulation, Lara pushing aside leaves as she walks - enhance the gameplay while leaving the main play familiar enough to not monkey up the works.
What Works:
+ Continued storyline that mixes in Norse mythology
+ Being able to shoot while climbing or hanging
+ Lush, beautiful environments with lots of exploration possibilities
What Doesn't:
- Camera willl still get you killed
- Motorcycle segments don't fit well
- Too much emphasis on fighting
Despite its relatively modest reputation in the greater gaming landscape, Tomb Raider Underworld was a huge game for AI development.
