Are the free Xbox Games With Gold titles for January 2018 any good?

Carlos writes: "It’s fair to say that 2017 has given us a decent year in terms of Games With Gold offerings, with games such as Project Cars, Ryse, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and Trackmania Turbo given out free of charge in recent months. Xbox Live Gold members have certainly had plenty to be excited about. Admittedly not every month has provided a stellar line-up but there’s been enough quality to make a difference.

Not great, at least IMO. Not bad games I suppose, but nothing I would actually download and play.

The title says the criteria was explicitly written to mention Eternal Darkness. I am happy to see House of the Dead: OVERKILL on here. With the rise of Grindhouse themes in the 2010s, (ie WET), this was one that was both entertaining and camp funny.

Would be nice to see a new Zombie game set in the UK again, some of the landmarks, old architecture and the like really fits in well with the genre.
