Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Though I don’t recall playing the original Operation Wolf game, I enjoyed this remake. I can’t vouch for how accurate it is, but I can verify that it’s fun. The asking price of $24.99 is a little steep for a two-hour game, but I have seen it on sale for 50% off. It’s definitely worth picking up on sale. If you’re into collecting Steam achievements, there are eighteen of them in this game."

Review - Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR (Quest 2) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission had one goal: prove that you can, indeed, revive a classic light gun arcade franchise with the power of virtual reality, especially with the added benefit of the Quest 2’s portability. Even if it has a handful of issues (it’s really short, the occasional framerate stutter, visuals that aren’t particularly amazing), it wasn’t trying to be an immersive, complex experience. It’s pure arcade fun, and it gets the job done with honors."

Obviously your not fan of these types of games, pointless review really. I'm a diehard retro gamer, so I certainly haven't forgotten about operation wolf. Not everyone wants open world, crafting, level grinding etc.. some of us love arcade games from 2D shooters to rail shooters. I'm sick of fps, rhythm games in VR. More games like Operation wolf, Astrobot, Moss would be more refreshing.
