Xenoblade Chronicles 3, what a game!

just_looken631d ago

Yep but the suits in charge look at this and will se it as garbage.;

Pokemon Scarlet / Violet – 20.61 million sense november 18th.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus – 14.63 million January 28th

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 1.81 million launched july 18th

One was a rushed tossed out money grab game with a small dev team under extrememe crunch

The other made with care time and the fans in mind.

But sadly all the ones in charge will go with the pokemon route

If you think about it 2 pokemon games on one platform has sold half as well as gta 5 on 6 platforms over 10yrs.

Even with archaic visuals, and minimal development effort, Pokemon games can easily sell 20 million in less than a year.

It's pokemon! And their main target don't care about that. They just want to catch them all!

20.61 Million in under a month and a half, November 18th to December 31st. That is beyond insane.

Neonridr631d ago

actually this was the best pokemon in some time. Sure, visually wasn't the best, but gameplay wise it was better than some of the previous efforts.

Pretty sure Metroid Dread has hit 3 million. Not sure why that’s being ignored.

ZeekQuattro631d ago

If Nintendo isn't given updates it most likely didn't otherwise it would be on the list.

silkylove631d ago

They already updated the sales in May 2022 and it was at 2.9 million. Even if it didn’t sell a single copy from then until now it’s should be on the million sellers list.

So glad to see games like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Kirby and the Forgotten Land selling so well. Hope to see more of the smaller franchises take the leap to Switch/Switch 2 or in Kirby's case make the leap to open 3D gameplay

safe to assume that pokemon will continue to be a crappily developed game?
