Chinese World of Warcraft players are allegedly invading the servers of neighboring regions to turn them into a second Chinese server.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."
The conquest continues.
Nothing new. Illidan (US) has been an unofficial Chinese server for years.
Where are mongolian World of WarCraft players? Only they can make chinese players move back to their server and build a (fire)wall around it. /s
The hypocrisy of this being reported compared with immigrants moving to western countries illegally.
BUILD A FIREWALL! BUILD A FIREWALL! BUILD A FIREWALL! BUILD A FIREWALL! BUILD A FIREWALL! BUILD A FIREWALL!
We cannot let these invaders cross to our region, burden our servers, abuse the player-base we built, use our free healing potions we pay with our subscriptions and take our world-kills. It's time to deport them back to their region!
!!HOGGER 2023!!
Make Azeroth Grate Again!
