Did you mean shouldn't be done?

Bathyj820d ago

No. Why would anyone think that?

Not in the slightest. HZD looks like a half finished tutorial compared to FW.

SullysCigar820d ago

Okay, I'll bite. Tell me where HFW isn't better than HZD.

Because everyone else seems to agree that it's awesome and improves over the first game in every way.

CrimsonWing69820d ago

Wait, hang on, let’s have a civil discussion here. Why do you think this isn’t how a sequel should be done?

XbladeTeddy820d ago

They won't answer that as that means they have to find facts to back up what they say which they won't.

Facial capture makes a big difference, body capture to. As seen from the 1st game to this one. Off note dont know if anyone seen DW9 they were robots.

SullysCigar820d ago

There is A LOT of praise being heaped on this game! Guerrilla Games are wizards.

I've played around ten hours and so far I'm really impressed.

It fixes the main problems I had with the original: mediocre sidequests and generic NPCs.

The new machines are also really badass. So far 9/10 from me. With my ONE complaint being that the button mapping is a bit odd for some actions and the platforming could've been tighter.

Eonjay820d ago

I agree the platforming could have been better. It's my only real complaint. I don't mind the button mapping. My favorite improvement is to the melee combat. I realized while playing the first human boss. What the combat allows you to do is amazing quite frankly.

myfathersbastard819d ago

Honest question, am I missing something? The combat doesn’t feel much different that HZD to me. I’m loving the game, 9/10 from me as well. But I would have loved some defensive melee stuff. I really feel like I’m missing something. The most effective moves I’ve found so far are just hitting them repeatedly then shooting the glowing orb deal when that pops up.

Flawlessmic820d ago

Its better in virtually every way!!

Played 17 hours so far and loving it, the world is so much more fleshed out including all the towns/villages and the side quests, they give you, i mean these could be main missions in some games.

If u loved the first horizon then you will love this.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 launch trailer will send shivers down your spine

Ninja Theory's latest trailer for their highly anticipated narrative action-adventure Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is absolute cinema.

Reaper22_1h ago

Like I said before, buying Ninja Theory was one of the smartest moves by Microsoft. Games looks incredible.

z2g1h ago

jwillj2k430m ago

Here we go again. Is this a game or a choose your own adventure???

purple10125m ago

if you choose left, turn to page 39, if you proceed forward, turn to page 43, to turn right, page 209, you finished the book early,

no but seriously this looks like Microsofts first hit, or should I say, first game of standout quality.

Didn’t a leak about a max Payne remake surface a while ago?

banger8822h ago

I hope it's Mafia 4. And I really hope it's set during the 70s or 80s, and not a prequel of the first game as was rumoured.

PrecursorOrb7h ago

Hoping for a Vegas mafia over here

DustMan2h ago

Now that would be a great setting.

TheColbertinator6h ago

Mafia 4 would be cool if set in a 70s to 80s era
