Wasteland 3 will be the best Wasteland yet - Expansive

Wasteland 3 is just absolutely great fun and is seemingly full of surprises. Even the soundtrack when it creeps in is an absolute clanger. Having spent a substantial chunk of time with the game now, Expansive are confident that Wasteland 3 will be one of the best RPGs this year.

I love me some wasteland, is sad how there is no traction in the commenta section for this game, maybe a couple of comments at most. I know it's not exactly mainstream, but it's still kinda sad.

I've never played a Wasteland title but I will give this some serious consideration.

Edit: IMO, premature for the video voice over person to consider this RPG of the year already, especially when Cyberpunk is coming out later this year.

It will at least be a contender. It did win, best RPG at Gamescom last year.

Well that is good to hear regarding the Gamescon award. Game looks good, regardless if it's GoTY or not.

I'm playing through Wasteland 2 Directors Cut at the moment. For some reason I couldn't get into it when it first released. It's a great game, but you're right - not many ppl will appreciate it, probably due to the old school aesthetics. But Wasteland 3 might change that, I'm definitely getting that as well.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to how the extra 3 months, plus the funding from MS will improve the game. I'd love for the main player characters to be voiced, and to have more character customisation options.
