Gamecube had some great titles, but it definitely was my secondary console to the PS2 and Xbox.
Xbox was great for the truly demanding games of the time like Morrowind, and PS2 had the diversified and large catalogue.
Gamecube was just sort of there for when they released 1st and 2nd party titles.

Absonite1538d ago

Metroid Prime was and STILL is THE reason to own a GameCube... And Windwaker.

MADGameR1537d ago

Nope. Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil Zero was the ONLY reeason to own a Game Cube.

KyRo1537d ago

REmake, RE0 and RE4 were the reasons I owned the GC personally. Windwaker was the only Zelda I ever beat. It was also the last Nintendo console I rated.

Eternal Darkness, and Luigi's Mansion

darthv721537d ago

Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 were my reason to own a cube.

Y_51501537d ago

Some Gamecube games are really pricey these days (some of the Mario Parties, Mario Sunshine, Smash, Metroid, the Zeldas). It has that collect-ability thing going for it right now.

gpturbo811537d ago

Eternal darkness was one of the better ones for gc

SyntheticForm1537d ago

RE0, Windwaker, Prime were my fondest memories from the Cube.

So what you're telling me is that Reggie joined Nintendo so he could get a free Gamecube to complete his console collection? Clever.

Reggie! Your body was not ready. Bad Reggie.

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis3d ago

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

banger886d ago

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

FPS_D3TH4d ago

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
