Yeah, I give it 8 months before they close the servers. I love Trails; in all honesty, I think it's one of the best RPG franchises and also the best when it comes to world-building. But it's not popular enough to sustain a gacha mobile game for more than a few months.

From what XSEED originally stated, it seemed like they had to pay a premium to get the japanese audio and it likely was even more expensive then dubbing it themselves. I'm glad they had a dub for them, forcing crap NIS to keep up. Now just hoping they keep with the Steam releases and give them the same level of support like Ultrawide etc
Edit: Just read the article and it does sound like he's hinting at the same thing I always believed was the situation. I assume in this case NIS is probably banking on the game being really successful if thats the case. They have to prove themselves getting the series now. So I'm not surprised. Especially with how much more popular the series is getting
