SwitchedOn Gamer writes: Hero from Dragon Quest is arriving in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but the Mii costume for another fan-favourite Square Enix character is mysteriously absent.
Video Game soundtracks are an essential part of the game, setting the tone, warning you of impending danger, or for some of us, useful background music whilst studying or working on projects.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate will host a new Spirits event on March 21 to celebrate the release of Princess Peach Showtime! and Super Mario Bros Wonder. The event will last for five days with new Spirits from the Nintendo Switch games.
The creator of the Smash Bros series, Masahiro Sakurai, has explained the lack of button re-mapping in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
“So, it’s surprising to see the costume has not returned in Smash Ultimate alongside the new Square Enix-owned DLC since the publisher has partial ownership of Geno.
The Super Mario RPG star is already featured in Smash Bros. Ultimate as a collectable Spirit and avatar for online play. This means that Nintendo has already secured the rights to use him,“
Nintendo doesn’t have the rights to use Geno, they can only license him with Square Enix’s permission. Square Enix doesn’t have partial ownership of Geno it’s full ownership unlike the situation with Sora.
The Geno costume really should’ve been included in this DLC pack
