Blizzard: Diablo Immortal Isn't Replicating the PC Experience; Not Every Game Can Appeal to Everyone

Blizzard's president J. Allen Brack said that Diablo Immortal isn't trying to replicate the PC experience, and not every game can appeal to every gamer anyway.

How about asking Blizzard for an MMO game that IS NOT Diablo.

The vast majority of Diablo fans were PISSED that they even announced a mobile version of the next entry in the Diablo franchise, and your next best idea is to destroy the franchise by making it go the MMO route?!

I can’t even begin to comprehend the thinking behind this logic. One of the major things that makes Diablo so great in the first place is that it IS NOT an MMO or some online-multiplayer focused game, and actually has a full single player campaign with the ability to play Local or even couch co-op with you’re friends.

Maybe because my all time favourite MMO is Ultima Online which was an isometric camera angle like Diablo.

You're saying its better to have a game that has a 10-20 hour campaign that ends and you just repeat that over an over instead of a game that continues to get content and expansions and never ends like how WoW has lasted 15 years?

Yeah I'll rather have the latter.

Theres plenty of singleplayer games out there I'm looking forward to Last of Us 2 and Cyberpunk. But Diablo is a co-op focused loot driven game it doesnt make sense for it to be treated like a singleplayer game.

These devs should just own up to they're motivations instead of spewing nonsensical blsht, so it can't be compared to either PC or console versions of Diablo playing like Diablo, all the while having the Diablo brand attached to it, I guess little Timmy and his mom with her credit card number is you're target audience, just a pity they don't knowno wtf Diablo is
