There are some games that just NEED to be remade. Here's ten of them.

Yes, it's another "Games To Remake" article. But I think it's pretty good.

I can seriously vouch for Vice: Project Doom, seriously one of the strangest, over the top games I never got to play until recently on my NES Mini.

I'll definitely have to checkout Nightshade next.

I love these type of articles.

I hadn't discovered Vice, either, until just recently, when we bought it at the used game store I worked at. I was stunned with just how much fun it was to play. I need to get my hands on my own copy - the store sold its copy before I had a chance to buy it myself.

Definitely try. I was floored when i first played it and I definitely agree it needs to be remade, rebooted re something

I loved the first wizards and warriors game when I was a kid. Love to see that one come back.

Great List:

Golgo 13. Way ahead of its time.

Faxanadu tragically underrated.

RC Pro Am. Hours of time on that classic.

Rygar and Willow are missing from this list. Strider and Bionic Commando also need proper remakes for current gen.

Willow and Bio Com are still epic

The re-envisioning of Rygar on the PS2 was pretty good.

I liked the remakes of both those games (Reloaded, not the 3D Bionic Commando game.... ugh). Also, can't argue with Willow, although I thought the PS2 Rygar was pretty decent. All in all, though.... you're not wrong.

Ok 25 are too many but then again so many consoles have been released throughout the years.

If I had to choose 5, I would pick N64, PS1, Switch, Dreamcast and Gamecube (based on the time I spent playing with friends on consoles).

For home consoles (not handhelds) I have created a mini interactive encyclopedia here as a hobby

Video games have a fascinating history

I'd choose PS1 as my first choice due to the amount of RPGs that were groundbreaking and still hold up well. PS2, SNES, PS4, NES and Switch are the next entries.

I own a PS5, but have not bought a single PS5 game on it, bought it to play my PS4 catalogue with it, but unfortunately the patches are far and in between. At least the sound quality is better than on the PS4 and PS4P, menus and loading faster, and it is silent and the controller is good.

Commodore Amiga CD32 was an amazing piece of kit with the jump from floppy to compact disc it were like witchcraft I'll tell ya

The PS1 was probably the most exciting for me.

SNES, Sega CD, and everything else in the 90's were also very exciting. Just an exciting decade all around with some absolutely fantastic gaming.

Wow, can’t believe they whittled this list down to only 25. I was trying to make a list of the best U.S. states and could only whittle it down to 50.

PS1-5 and the NES are the top 6 consoles. Since Nintendo hasn't done anything different since the NES, the NES is the one to beat.

The top 2 are PS1 and PS4.
