Everyone was hoping Warmind would be the expansion to save Destiny 2. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more of a light Rise of Iron than Taken King.
Today, Destiny 2 is better than it was 3 months ago and from what the guys who saw the September update have been saying, it will become even better in next 3 months so fingers crossed?
Only if you're willing to pay money for it. If the game is better because of paid DLC then what's point.
Well, you are right, but still the best stuff that came to Destiny 2 with this DLC was available to all the players not just the ones who bought the DLC, things like Go Fast update and the rest of the improvements
That's true too, but at the same time they lock content behind the DLC effectively taking away things vanilla owners have already paid for. I'm a slow player and even though I rarely play destiny 2 I like to hop on once in a while. Every time I get back to this game I realize I've been pushed behind. I can't even play the damn raids because the grinding is so damn high.
Destiny 2 ramps up for its second expansion, and after an underwhelming showing from the first, fans are hoping for an improvement. Let's see if Bungie gives fans the expansion they want with Warmind. Review by Matthew Owen.

Destiny 2’s Warmind expansion ought to look familiar. It’s the solid follow-up to a thoroughly disappointing first expansion—just as House of Wolves was to The Dark Below for the first Destiny. It also brings players back to Mars, another original Destiny location, and revives the story of the titular Warmind A.I. that has run in the series’ background for years
CoO was a 5/10, I'd say Warmind is a 8/10. I'm not sure I could ever rate a Destiny DLC 10/10 or 9/10 because I'll always feel like they could've added more. Even if you don't have the DLC the amount of fun and viable weapons for PVE and PVP are overwhelming. And grinding for masterworks for those weapons and my favorite gear is what I play for. If you don't care about all the weapons then Destiny and maybe no shooter is for you.
