The Pixelated Golf Game We All Needed! First off, let me get this loud statement off my chest: OH MY GOD! Where has Golf Story been all my life?
WTMG's Leo Faria: "The Switch version of Sticky Business is less of a game, and more of a very clunky and shallow creative tool with not a lot to entice players for long. The progression system is silly, the gameplay loop lacks any kind of excitemente, and the controls and interface are embarassingly bad, never taking advantage of the Switch’s touchscreen, or even giving us the bare minimum of a completely cursor-based interface. There’s just no sense of accomplishment while playing it. It’s just downright frustrating. If you really want to play Sticky Business, and come up with your sticker empire of sorts (hey, I’m not judging), just stick to the PC version."
Exophobia is brings back classic alien blasting today with a new demo on PC and eventually with a full release on July 23.
"The Bristol-based (the UK) indie games publisher Auroch Digital and indie games developer Positech Games, today announced with great happiness and thrill that their hit-political title "Democracy 4: Console Edition", is coming to consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores on June 5th, 2024." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Golf Story is hands down by far one of the best Indie Games to come out on the Switch. This feels like an awesome mix between Gameboy Advance Mario Golf and something wacky in role-playing elements like EarthBound or Pokemon. I love how each course is unique and silly, and there's so much to do. Adding in frisbee golf and geocaching (two of my favorite outdoor activities) sealed the deal for me!
Probably my fav indie on switch. So much charm and decent story too.
