SG Gaming Info jumps into a mech and fights robots on Mars in its review of the PC version of Assault Gunners HD Edition.
Assault Gunners HD Edition sends players to space in the year 208X, war breaks out among the colonies and it's up to a Peace Keeping Force called DAT to investigate a disturbance on Mars.
ASSAULT GUNNERS HD EDITION (the actual title is all caps, sorry) is a HD remake of an obscure mech PS Vita game that was never released here in the West. Now we get to play it on Windows PC and PS4, and for the very reasonable price of $9.99.
Blast Away the Game Review writes: "To counteract the lack of new assets or content, we can be thankful that Shade Inc. went through the trouble of porting their game over to the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. While it is fun to unlock new customizations such as weapons, armor, and items, it does come with a punishment of sorts. Even at higher difficulties, Assault Gunners HD Edition does get repetitious, it does get boring, and it will leave players shaking their had at some point or another."
