After some criticism, though, the team decided to update the 3D model and released some new screenshots for it."

DSOGaming writes: "Earlier this month, we informed you about remastered versions of Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 that were going to be released on Steam. These remasters were being developed by Realtech VR and they were basically mods that would require the original DOS games on Steam in order to work. However, it appears that these remasters have been cancelled."
hahah That was fast! Why did Realtech VR think they could release this without approval??
Realtech VR has announced that it will release remastered versions of Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 on Steam. These remasters will be based on the mobile versions, will support OpenVR, will feature a new 3D engine, and will be free to all owners of these games.
That's damn good news. I felt so robbed when i bought them on Steam just to find them absolute shit of ports. So it will be great to revisit the series when the remasters drop on Steam.
Question:
So I have a GTX 1080 and I am thinking of upgrading to Ti. Can i have both installed with no problem assuming there's any use in having both installed? I have to have two identical cards to enable SLI correct?
New engine = remake, remaster is just a fancy marketing term for a port with no more visual upgrade than an emulator can achieve.
