The Xbox One has made great strides, but there are still problems it needs to fix.
Codemasters has unveiled a series of massive changes to the Career Mode in F1 24. Players will finally be able to play as a current superstar.
Bandai Namco have announced a console and PC game of the Tensura series - that of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles.
Wrath: Aeon of Ruin has come about via some old classical inspiration. If you liked Quake, DOOM, Hexen or the like, then you're going to love this as it blasts onto Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
I can't say that I have been frustrated by or even experienced most of those issues. Downloads happen mostly overnight while the console is off, really like the way updates are handled in the background. And never once experienced the Game is taking Too Long To Start. Is this a real thing?
I do have some issues though. Here is my list of things that frustrate me.
1. No Dolby Vision support. This makes the UHD BluRay worthless to me. Nothing angers me worse than this. I have to buy a standalone BluRay because MS is too cheap to pay or even allow us to pay a cheap licensing fee.
2. Party Chat reliability. Can't tell you how many times we have had to restart or create new parties because one member will have issues with not hearing or able to communicate. Mostly the error says network settings are blocking Party Chat features which is BS since it was just working and works again if you create a new party.
3. Upload speeds. Why on earth does the network tester show my upload speeds are about 25% of what they actually are. I am hard wired. I can run multiple tests on my PC and they always show the full speeds, why is Xbox Throttling my upload speeds? This is true on 360 as well as the One. Or is this just a glitch in the tester. Either way, fix it.
4. Cannot buy UHD Content if you already own HD versions of the content. Seriously MS? I can't buy a new version of a movie because I already own an older version? Get a new QA team.
5. On screen Controller battery status isn't accurate. So many times I will check my battery and it will show I am at or above 50% and then 20 minutes later my rumble will stop working because I am too low. I have done my own testing and the battery is lasting as long as it should just the indicator seems to be broken. Fix it.
I dislike the Xbox One UI.
The problem is there are too many great Xbox exclusives and I dont have time to play them all.
Opinions - or facts - that don't match the view that Xbox is #1 in gaming?
