Nah. Replacing progression with loot boxes was a garbage decision, but the core game is still good.

I'd lean more towards Friday the 13th myself. Simple enough premise that sounded great on paper, but it was a horrible mess of a game.

Mass Effect Andromeda.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, but is was nowhere near where it should have been. Such a shame.

Marvel vs Capcom infinite was mine. Destiny 2 was as fun as the first game. It was disappointing to people who didn't like Destiny to begin with

This EASILY goes to Mass Effect. I have yet to play it but it had some amazing potential. Destiny 2 is a great game with a couple of glaring flaws that can be addressed. Even still, the campaign was rock solid and can stand on it's own.

Haven't played battlefront 2 but why do you say that? What's the difference between this one and the first game where it makes it so bad? Being serious here as I didn't try this game at all.

Not really surprised at all. Bungie got way toi much credit back in the days of the OG Xbox when it was first party. I remember the feeling I got that Halo2 was an unfinished game after I completed the last chapter. They put so much work into overhauling the multiplayer that the single player came to an abrupt cliffhanger. We were left years without a sequel until Halo3 landed on the Xbox360. From the moment that I started to play, I could tell that Bungie used unfinished content from Halo2 to rollover to Halo3. The graphics were dated, and no one seemed to call them out on it. That team was never meant to do annual releases or bi annual for that matter. They just don't do well with delivering a complete package. And personally Destiny in my opinion felt like Halo with a new coat of paint. It's like Dodge and Chrysler. You have the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Caravan, wtf?

Bungie made some odd directional changes to this game but it's still a blast to play and the game mechanics are spot on. It is far from the biggest let down, I'd say Mass Effect Andromeda takes that. As a ME fanboy, I am so bummed by what we got. I still played it and had 100 hours in it, but it was nowhere near where it should have been.
