Japanese Gamer Spends 15 Million Yen on Soon Defunct Idolm@ster: Million Live Game

One Idolm@ster: Million Live fan is standing by their exorbitant spending habits now that their favorite mobile game is shutting down. Twitter user gun_bus revealed in July that they spent more than 15 million yen, equivalent to about US$131,940, on the mobile game over the course of playing it. And considering the months that have passed since then, there's no telling what this fan's real total is.

You have no idea how big gacha games are in Japan. It is easy to believe that amount can be spent with people with high income or/and even gambling addiction. It's is the same thing, spinning or pulling for a chance to obtain something of value through luck.
