PUBG Creator Comments On Xbox One X Version, Wants 4K Textures

PUBG is coming to Xbox One in under a month, and now Playerunknown himself has commented on the benefits that people playing on Xbox One X may see. The same mode on Fortnight is a blast so I'm definitely ready to give this one a shot when it comes out.

Good to see the X is getting a lot of major support from devs. Will definitely be worth the purchase hopefully this holiday.

Wanting 4K textures is very ambitious. Whatever the textures are now, the game needs to be optimized 10-fold.

4k textures for a game that looks half finished and broken......makes total sense with todays state of gaming.

Remember that this unfinished game got nominated for a GOTY award. It's sad that things have gone this far.

lol at wanting 4k textures. When it comes to xbox x i want them too but i would like if you guys programmed your bae model a bit better first.

The question is, would it manage 60FPS? It seems highly unlikely on all current consoles without serious quality reductions. But a game such as this running just 30FPS would make it much worse than it needs to be, just to be competitive

After having experience with this game for over 6 months it would be a very poor experience online to play at 30FPS.
