" I think it’s time for a collection that celebrates this legacy front to back, starting with X-Men vs. SF and going all the way through Marvel vs. Capcom 3"

If Capcom were to do the impossible and release an anthology of this series, I'd prefer they start at X-Men: Children of the Atom and up to Marvel vs. Capcom 2. We don't need MvC3 in it since we already got the superior UMvC3 ported on modern consoles.

If Capcom doesn't then it's no skin off my bones since I already own MvC: Origins, MvC2, & UMvC3 on PS3 and UMvC3 on PS4 for its DLC.

I enjoyed COTA, but it wasn't technically part of the Vs. universe. But, yeah, throw that in there.

X-Men: CotA is part of the Capcom vs series. Akuma appearing in that game is was the start of Capcom crossing over its properties with companies like Marvel, SNK, Namco, Konami, Tatsunoku, Level-5, Bandai, Microsoft, Sony, Sega, Take-Two, EA, Nintendo, & Square Enix.

Not to mention that Marvel Super Heroes was included in Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, thus further cementing that it and CotA are part of the series.

Anytime Capcom has rereleased a classic fighting game on a modern console it only contained 1-2 games. Don't expect Capcom to release a new collection of fighting games that includes more than 2 titles

Which is a shame. We've seen in the past when it included three or more, like with Street fighter Alpha Anthology.

And all the X-Men and Fantastic 4 characters will be removed, because Disney owned Marvel is a petty nazi.

As much as I would love to see this, not going to happen. Licensing alone is going to kill it.

So it could be torn apart by gaming media and "gamers"? As much as I would love it, it's probably better off not coming out.
