What's Call of Duty WW2 like in 2021? Ahead of the release of Vanguard, let's check out Sledgehammer's last game from 2017.
The PlayStation Summer sale expands with a load of new discounts.
Including indies I’ve bought like more than 20 games, good deals all around.
Told my partner to stop me from browsing. We'll see how that goes, the first part of the sale already got me.
Anthem 85% off? Thought they went free to play. Has the game gotten any better?
Edit-Nvm, it's Europe anyway.
I might finally go for Black Desert. I've been playing ESO (without MTing my characters) for some throw away entertainment, but the combat is so "#$&&%.
Highly recommend the "metro saga bundle" £25 all 3 games and all DLC plus free upgrade for ps5 exodus 😊
When they revealed the game they repeated historically accurate more times than I could count. Then they turn around & remove Nazi symbols & place black women as Nazi soldiers. Sorry, but that isn't historically accurate. Don't try to claim it is if it isn't
So its a move from historical accuracy to historical horseshit?
Someone needs punching in at Activision if this ends up as the game.
Nothing wrong with Nazi imagery in WWII games, they, just like the Japanese were c**ts during the War. So to show the Japanese, Italians or German Soldiers accurately dressed including the swastika is important and accurate.
Anything else is just horseshit
That isn't a Browning A12 shotgun. It's the Walther Toggle Action Shotgun. The fact that it's paired with a German pistol should have been a big hint it's not an American weapon.

The entrenching tool depicted is accurate to the time period and E-Tools were still used in WW2. It's a US M43 E-Tool. I'm not sure why you intentionally used an image of a modern design.

You're also wrong about the Lewis Gun not being used in WW2. Even though the Bren replaced it for infantry use and the Vickers K replaced it for airborne use, the Lewis Gun still saw use during WW2. The Lewis was withdrawn from British service in 1946.

The MG15 was used during WW2. It could also be equipped for infantry use.

Are they censoring it in single player to? If so that's bs. Also why are they going so pc now and not with all the other ww2 games that came before
None of this bothers me. Using experimental weapons is okay in my opinion. Battlefield 1 did it and I absolutely LOVE that game.
What DOES piss me off is the removal of swastikas from the MP as well as the addition of black female/male playable characters as Nazis in MP. The "but it's MP bro" argument is invalid as the developer went on and on about accuracy in the game. Leave it to Activision AND Sledgehammer to ruin what could've been a GREAT WWII shooter and a return to what made Call of Duty so incredible to begin with. Michael Condrey is a political sellout for the sake of liberal ideology and inclusion. It's HISTORY.
