Metro Exodus and the developer that won’t stop fighting

4A Games isn’t afraid to go head-to-head with much bigger studios.

Wotbot2912d ago

I really loved the Metro games and look forward to this new one.

UltraNova2912d ago

This dev knows their stuff. Huge fan of their games here. Cant wait!

F4ctory_Reset2912d ago (Edited 2912d ago )

This was my personal favourite announcement of E3 2017.

I. CAN'T. WAIT.

It was absolutely up there for me. Wolfenstein: New Colossus was just about the only game that might've surpassed the excitement that I have for this. Anthem, while I'm certainly watching like a hawk, almost certainly won't be able to match the narrative that Metro will bring to the table, and I'm still being reserved as far as allowing myself to get swept up in the current of Anthem's hype and promises. On the other hand, I can all but guarantee that Metro and Wolfenstein will deliver.

The developer has done a better job of most of the bigger studios.

Bought the Metro Redux bundle last summer, and I am currently still playing it into this summer. I've played Metro 2033 Redux twice, and am currently on my third playthrough to earn all trophies. I am not touching Last Light until I fully complete 2033, but I am so excited to do so.

I can safely say that the Metro franchise is one of my all time favorites. It has everything: story, gameplay, graphics, music, atmosphere. One of the most immersive video gaming experiences and certainly one of the most thoroughly enjoyable ones.

I am beyond excited for Metro Exodus, it warrants a preorder and a day one purchase. Highly recommend the Metro games.

I agree with you. This game is a call back to the days of quality, original single play FPS experiences. They don't make nearly enough anymore.

Yui_Suzumiya2912d ago

You're going to love Last Light then. It's much better than 2033.

r3f1cul2911d ago

this this and this ... i honestly found 2033 to be a bit lackluster ... not bad by any means ... but last light tho !!!! sooooo good ...

hengst24042912d ago

Much like the Witcher was the RPGs, I hope this new Metro game is to shooters. The Metro series is a breath of fresh air that not nearly enough people have taken the opportunity to play.

Sony Faces Class Action in the Netherlands Over Allegedly Inflated PlayStation Store Prices

Mass Damage & Consumer Foundation in the Netherlands has filed a class action against Sony for inflating PlayStation Store prices.

dveio47m ago(Edited 44m ago)

My personal opinion:

Manufacturers and publishers have indeed inflated the industry.

From $700 million development costs for games like Call of Duty, to digital (store) prices for games and DLCs, online multiplayer fees on consoles (why can you play Helldivers 2 online for free on PC but not consoles?) or still preventing sell/lend digitally purchased games.

Sometime in the future, this bubble will collapse.

They should know better, but they just can't help themselves and suck even the last penny out of our wallets.

anast28m ago

The Dutch gov. wants a piece of the pie.

Eonjay5m ago

They should be suing the individual publishers increasing the prices to $80 instead of suing the store. There are plenty of publishers still selling game for like $50 with much success (like E33). But this proves that the publishers are the ones setting the prices.... so again nothing changes because they aren't even going after the main offender. How is suing Sony going to make Microsoft not charge $80 for the next COD? Sony being the number one store in the market doesn't mean that publisher have to charge us an arm and a leg. Again the industry is laughing at us because consumers never get real representation. Just these fake platitudes that are meaningless.

Cancelled Batman Game Featuring Damian Wayne Character Designs Surface

"Project Sabbath" was a cancelled Batman game by WB Games Montreal where Damien Wayne was set to take on the mantle of the Bat.

Terry_B2d ago

Its time Damian ...and his mother too & how his son came to be will be a big part in a background story of a Batman movie, series or game.

-Foxtrot1d 17h ago

I'd have rather seen Terry than Damian especially to see what they could have done with Terry in the Arkhamverse

excaliburps7h ago

No, WB doesn't want anything fun since suits want live service garbage for max revenue. LOL!

Shame. If we are getting any Batman games like these, it'll be years away.

Babadook72h ago

Not to be confused with Damon Wayans.

jznrpg2h ago

I’m not a big superhero fan but I do enjoy the Batman and SpiderMan games. Too bad this one got cancelled. WB has been mostly shite live service.
