Pure PlayStation: Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale Game is another title in Marvel’s desire to conquer all media in the known universe, and Telltale is the perfect partner for a story-based game. For Episode 1, did they nail the feel of the universe, characters, and classic rock soundtrack, or did it fail to hit the right notes?

Ever since Telltale Games released The Walking Dead in 2012, I’ve changed my perception of the story based, graphic adventure genre. They always seem to know how to engage the player inside the world that they are portraying, with a focus on character attachment and amazing narrative.
Telltale starts off another series, this time adapting the hugely popular Guardians of the Galaxy franchise into their signature adventure game style. Does it succeed and stand out, or fail to capture the magic?
