For Honor's DLC policy isn't actually much worse than average for a modern AAA title. It may be irritating, but it shouldn't be surprising.
Time for battle. Today, For Honor announced that its Year 8, Forged in War, starts on March 14 with the first of four new seasons. Each season will tell standalone stories focused on special weapons unique to one of For Honor’s factions.
This is a great achievement. Today, For Honor celebrated reaching 35 million players and announced that its first fully armored Viking Hero, the Varangian Guard, will join the game on February 1.
Wow, this game is still going! Have not played it yet but wondering if it's worth jumping into
This looks like some Spooky fun.For Honor’s new season, Deceit, is coming on September 14, and the atmosphere is about to get otherworldly. Year 7 Season 3’s story opens with the Ghost Festival, a Wu Lin celebration to honor the dead with offerings and performances, running from September 14 to October 5.
7 years already, jesus. People play it still. It was fun but not the sticking around years kinda fun.
Yeah.. no, they shoehorned in so much BS to help peddle their DLC crap.
Didn't they try to justify their overpriced emotes to content you find in an MMO where they said you aren't supposed unlock everything, but only as time goes on. Except it's a brawler and nowhere near to what a MMO is. Also most MMOs have the decency to be fee with microtransactions. Ubisoft wants to charge full price for their games fully loaded with microtransactions.
The only thing for honor is paying for is a poor game design which is bsed around microtransaction in a full priced game. Im surprised they disnt claim to be too innovative.
This is what it has come to now. If people keep buying microtransactions and DLC like this in AAA or any other games it will continue.
As customers we have all the power but we still don't use it effectively enough. Stop buying this crap and the publishers will stop selling it as it won't be worth it for them.
For Honor isn't paying for past games sins. This is past, present and future games sins until we stop it.
