Edit- I just checked, there’s litteraly no games for that price. So I don’t know what this writer is reporting on.

Three of the are on sale in the UK, oxenfree which is the only decent one isn't.
Also just games picked from the end of year sale.

One of those games is Oxenfree and if you're into ghost stories about the Bermuda triangle and other weird unexplained science fiction like mysteries I toooootally recommend it. Probably some of the smoothest line delivery with dialogue choices in any game, good music, just a great game all around.
COG: We've got the first 15 minutes of Subject 13 which is an adventure game that depicts a universe with all kinds of secret hidings, enigmas and mechanisms.
It looks like an interesting blend of Resident Evil and Portal. I think I'm going to have to check it out!

How so? There's a few pictures available which give the idea of a puzzle game and I personally find puzzlers that use things such as lasers, light, geometry etc, to be rather interesting. Each to their own opinion of course but I don't see what part of this game immediately looks bland from the pictures provided.
