New Xbox One UI Comparison Shows Massive Improvement In Multitasking Performance

The latest firmware update for Xbox One is now live for all the Xbox Insiders and the comparison to the old UI shows improved multitasking performance.

I'm in the preview program and trust me, this UI is still choppy AF! I dont care about talking to idiot #2 on Skype or whatever. I just want the damn UI too be silk smooth, is that too much to ask for?

Love what I see so far, just got a glimpse today. They definitely preparing for Scorpio launch in the fall. This update will also be across the board to all Xbox One devices.

I've never liked the Xbox One UI very much but it has consistently improved with updates during the 2 years I've had it.

YAY!!! took them just over 3 full years to put it to a point that i consider tolerable or even comparable to the xbox 360 ... how wonderful ... i guess its better late then never but for what i paid for this damn console it should have been that fast at launch and they should have improved on it from there :/

360 blade UI was pretty fast and nice. Was that a launch UI? I don't recall, but I really miss the blade UI from then.

Personally, yeah. But that's neither here nor there. I still think the blade UI could be used to fit most needs without too much bloating, but I realize that what they have evolved into with all of the offerings is probably what many gamers are interested in. I was only answering honestly your original question. I do believe that both UIs bloat in some way or limit themselves in others that they shouldn't. But, as far as just a good, quick, UI that worked really well? Blade UI... never forget.

The blades were simple and fast, just limited. When they put the ads in it was like a turtle 360.
