So 3 hours and 26 minutes? Wow.. And that only for €59,99

GryestOfBluSkies2733d ago

the good news is that if if doesnt sell, the price will drop really quickly

C-H-E-F2733d ago

Yup exactly will bail out on this purchase for sure. I'm glad I waited it out. Seems like no game can compete with Battlezone and Rigs :D

Cupid_Viper_32733d ago

Yea I'm looking forward to this game as well but I'm not sure I'm ready to shell out $60 for it.

On a somewhat related note, I got my PSVR on Monday, I put it on and took it off and now it is already Thursday. I haven't felt this way about gaming since the days when I was back in middle and high school and tried to play as much as I could before the next school day. It is so damn hard to explain what you actually see and experience in VR.

For instance, I watch a trailer for Wayward Sky on my TV and I right away I was like: 'meh.... Not for me.' Then just a few hours ago I actually tried the demo of the game and I'm left speechless... I can't believe how shockingly different the experience was with the headset on. I'm buying the game in the morning!

I would love a Ni No Kuni in VR. Also Valkyria Chronicles, A modern day Contra would be awesome too... I feel like a kid again. Just blown away really. And to think that this is only the beginning...

Goldby2733d ago

@Cupid.

Its that sweet ass 3d immersion. no one truly understands it until they put that beautiful headset on

mike32UK2733d ago

Yeah I'm really excited to play this but ain't no way I'm paying that. I feel like £20 is a much more acceptable pricepoint

IamTylerDurden12733d ago

Umm the game is $40 at certain retailers. A fair price for a AAA VR experience.

thornh2733d ago

Amazon Prime member here. I paid $31.99. That is a more fitting price point.

IamTylerDurden12733d ago

I payed $39.99 at gamestop and i guarantee it will take me at least 5 hours to complete the first time. I take my time especially in VR to admire the wonder and beauty of actually being there.

cash_longfellow2733d ago

You must realize that VR is a new market...it is impossible to know what the "correct" pricing is right now.

All known issues with VR really. Also Im not even mad about game legnth. I dont plan on wearing a VR headset for more than the 3 or so hours sessions anyways. Looking foward to PSVR in the near future. PS4 Pro next week...excitement level at 99%

So Im wrong that motion sickness, game legnth are known issues with VR?

And the 79% was a typo...meant 99%. Cant put 100% becaause that more close to release date.

I think this whole motion sickness thing is getting overhyped. I'm sure there are a few out there that get dizzy, but comon. With the VR and what I've learned personally, is that people are jumping right into games like EVE and Driveclub. I jumped right into Battlezone and got a feeling of claustrophobia. You must start off with Ocean Decent, and London Heist. Then work your way up to the other games. You get used to it and after a few days, the dizzy feeling and everything is gone! I have a major phobia of heights, so EVE terrified me to the point where I had to turn it off. It looked so damn real and really gave me the sense that I was there in this cockpit up in space! I was so immersed and loved the game so much, that I kept going back into it, until one day I was no longer freaked out and am thouroughly enjoying it now! The VR could help people get over their fears! It's an experience that cannot be explained. Like someone else said here how it made them feel like a kid again, I can completely relate. It's something special and it's too bad that a lot of people seem to be more pumped for the ps pro, than the PSVR. A slight upgrade in graphics makes people go haywire, rather than a new gaming technology that completely immerses you and puts you into that world. It feels so real that you aren't even bothered that the graphics aren't razor sharp HD. This is coming from a graphics nut that almost passed on the PSVR, and I'm extremely glad I did not! Everyone must experience the PSVR!

It kinda hurt me to read this, because I just said recently that I don't trust Crytek when it comes to games because none of their games live up to the beauty at which it is presented. They always make beautiful games, but when you play it you're like wah? why? lOl

WeAreLegion2733d ago

The first FarCry and all the Crysis games are excellent.

IamTylerDurden12733d ago

The game looks amazing and is $40 at certain retailers.

I can finally watch pron, I mean watch pronouns be pronounced in PC VR games that were previously not available on Playstation.

crazyCoconuts37d ago

be careful not to sprain your... tongue pronouncing those pronouns

Profchaos37d ago

I'm excited for that to plus I can try fallout 4 VR always wanted to play that

crazyCoconuts37d ago

I was lucky and held off on 4 until I played it in VR. It really is pretty awesome - you'll love it.

DaReapa37d ago

The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
