Bandai Namco announced today that the upcoming PS4 exclusive The Idolmaster: Platinum Stars will be released in Japan on July 28th.
Recently, during a special year-end livestream, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed that they are currently developing a new console game for The Idolmaster franchise. The game will be announced during a livestream that takes place on January 20, 2020 at 20:00 JST. It will be live-streamed on Youtube and Niconico.

Idolmaster: Platinum Stars is a more streamlined Idolmaster experience. It’s nowhere near as complicated or strict as previous games. As long as you continue moving forward and working with your heroines, primarily by sending them out to perform and occasionally through training or promotional endeavors, you’ll succeed.
Not impressed. Bandai Namco hasn't released an AAA or critically praised game in almost 10 years lol. Although, I'm looking forward to Taki Topi 4! I hope it releases this year.
