As the first game from Korean developer Soft Big Bang, Core Masters did not fare very well, shutting down both the Korean and SEA servers last year while the North America server did not even launch. However, the studio has transitioned to mobile games, and the reborn Core Masters was announced today as a competitive mobile MOBA.
As with almost any other online games which launches in Japan, it is critical to have popular characters from other franchises to make appearances. Core Masters, a MOBA developed in Korea by Soft Big Bang, introduced 3 characters from The King of Fighters 98 earlier today. Looks awesome!
Core Masters' Final Closed Beta started today on August 14 and this game will enter open beta in Korea soon on August 20. The gameplay video of its Alliance mode was released online. Check it out below.
Core Masters developed by Korean company Neowiz Games is a MOBA style strategy action game. The open beta of its Japanese version starts on April 24, 2014. It is published by GMO in Japan and 32 champions will be playable in the open beta.
After the open beta on Japanese server, Core Masters will enter beta phase in Korea, North America, China, South East Asia and other areas. This game will come to NA at the end of 2014. Here is the official site of the NA version.
